  1. Northern University has been upgraded to “W” category (old category “A”) in March 2009.

  2. Introduction of M.Phil and Ph.D. programs
  3. HEC PhD review committee visited university on June 13, 2012 and carried out necessary evaluation of University PhD Education Program.
  4. Full Fee, Zakat Based Scholarships available to the students. Presently 55 students are availing zakat based and 3 students are availing merit based Financial Aid.
  5. EDR Trust Subsidize Fee.
  6. Sports Events inter department matches scheduled in 2016.
  7. Study Tour to industries plan in 2016.
  8. Convocation tentatively planned in April 2016.
  9. MBA & BBA programs effective Spring 2011 will be run according to HEC Policy Enforced in the year 2010/2011 onwards.
  10. PhD Program in Education have started since Year 2009/ 2010.
  11. Environmental Science MS and MPhil Programs launched effective Summer 2011.
  12. KPK Province have placed great emphasis to the district of Nowshera and lately foundation stone of all police training establishments have taken place across the campus Road Wattar Wali Ziarat Kaka Sahib.
  13. University will collaborate police training degree programs and will open new departments.
  14. Students are required to give Paper Affidavit for the collection of original Degree.
  15. Transcript/ Provincial Certificates/ Degree are Subject to verifications.

  16. The improvement in the intake of university admissions and graduating student’s performance is a clear indication of its quality control.

  18. Construction of Double Story Building on Kaka Sahib Block and on Omer Sawar Block Completed in the main Campus    
  19. Scholorships
    To promote higher education in Nowshera, EDR Trust is giving  scholorships to all students i.e. 40% of tution fee, since year 2003    
  20. The University has 15 PhD Faculty members on its roll.
  21. Join new degree program MSC Psychology w.e.f November 2013.
  22. 10 students have been completed their PhD in Education.
  23. Closure of main campus due to road underconstruction with the efforts of Mir. Jan Muhammad Jamali, Speaker Balochistan.
  24. Heritage site of Mughal dynasty era near main Campus is being restored by the University.
