The Department of Computer Science at Northern University was established in 2003. This department offers students and faculty a close-knit community to learn, discover, and innovate in a shared quest for computational solutions to a spectrum of challenging problems.
Our focus is on quality teaching and research using state-of-the-art facilities. The BSCS and MCS programs were first offered in Spring 2003 and approved by HEC. Both programs were approved by BOS on 9th December 2016 and by BOF on 31st January 2017. The BSCS program was also accredited by NCEAC on 10th September 2019.
Currently, the Computer Science department offers only the BSCS degree and has plans to launch an MSCS degree program in the future.
