Functions of Data Cell

• Collect and maintain accurate data from various departments, including admissions, academic records, faculty, and administrative sections.

• Analyze data to support decision-making processes in academic, administrative, and financial areas.

• Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive university data.

• Ensure compliance with governmental and institutional data regulations and prepare reports for higher education commissions and other regulatory authorities through QEC.

• Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and upgrade data management systems and tools.

• Act as a central point for data-related queries and coordinate with academic and administrative departments.

• Gather, organize, and manage data related to examinations, including student enrollment, attendance, and grades.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of examination-related data, including verifying student details and course registration.

• Compile examination results, process grade sheets, and prepare mark sheets or transcripts.

• Facilitate the verification of degrees and transcripts for students and external entities.

• Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data.

• Manage the collection of student fees, including tuition, hostel, and other miscellaneous charges.

• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic financial decisions.

How to Apply for Degree

• Degree Application Form: Visit the Examination Branch and receive the Degree Application Form.

• Fill the form and complete it with all the details

• Attach the following documents:
  a. Attested Photocopy of Metric Certificate
  b. Attested Photocopy of Transcript (front and back both side) for which the degree is applied
  c. Attested Photocopy of your CNIC
  d. Paid Fee Slip(fee for normal apply Rs. 6000/- , fee for urgent apply Rs. 11,000/-)

• Submit the Degree Application Form with all the documents mentioned above in the Examination Branch.

• Degree will be provided to the applicant for normal apply after 90 days and for urgent apply after 45 days.

Note: And degree will be provided to the student only. In case if the student will failed to collect the degree, the student will provide the affidavit on legal stamp paper with Oath Commissioner sign and authorize the person who will receive the degree on his/her behalf along with signatures of both and photocopy of CNIC of both.

How to Apply for Transcript

• Clearance Form: Visit the Examination Branch and receive the Clearance Form.

• Fill the clearance form and complete it with all the required details.

• Attach the following documents:
  a. Attested Photocopy of Metric Certificate
  b. Attested Photocopy of your CNIC
  c. NU student ID Card
  d. Latest passport size photograph.

• Submit to Account session for clearance.

• Once clear from the Account session is done, then the Examination Branch will process the transcript.

• Transcript will be provided to the student within 40 days.

Note: Accounts clearance period is not included in these 40 days. And the transcript will be provided to the student only. In case if the student fails to collect the transcript, the student will provide the affidavit on legal stamp paper with Oath Commissioner sign and authorize the person who will receive the transcript on his/her behalf along with signatures of both and photocopy of CNIC of both.

Donations can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or in person at our designated donation office. We ensure complete transparency and provide official receipts for all contributions. Donors are also welcome to visit and see firsthand how their generosity is making a difference.
